And pink was the colour of the day
Last Sat, a surprise birthday party was held for Ichaya! (For pics please see Myztika's site! ^_^) And I'm glad to announce that it was a big success!!! Thanks to our 2 brillant, gorgeous organisers!!! It was very, very good seeing the twit gang again. I haven't been able to meet up with them for sooo long...
A very memorable part of the party was us (surprise-rs) starving while waiting for the birthday girl to turn up. All that amazing food (courtesy of our 2 chefs who woke up early that morning to prepare) in front of us and we could only stare. hahaha... We must have looked so pathetic that the maid kindly brought out Ichaya's store of chocolates for us to raid. :D The wait was well worth it in the end. The astonished, happy look on her face, us tucking into the feast...
After gorging ourselves, we settled down to a Hindi (?!?) movie (Doom 2? Is that it?) played on Ichaya's dad's superb sound system. It was real funny, the movie. (Though it wasn't meant to be. It was supposed to be a cop-thief thriller. But because a lot of parts were so corny and unbelievable, it turned out to be extremely entertaining, in a mindless sort of way. :p) Zoolander was voted to be the next movie, but too bad the disc refused to play on the dvd player so we (the girls, mainly) decided to put on Grease instead. This was when you see the guys (only 2) start to cringe. Cos' us girls (all 6 of us! 2 vs 6, they lose! haha) were singing along to the songs and giggling. I think I've only ever watched it once before, so I don't really know the songs very well, but the music was very familiar and I could keep up with most of it. :)
We fast forwarded to the last bits and finished the night singing at the top of our voices. It was a great evening spent with some of my favourite friends. hee.
The End.
