Haven't been able to update. You know, the usual reasons...
So, let's backtrack...
A colleague had a wedding dinner in a Chinese restaurant in JB a couple of weeks ago (02 Dec). His bride was ravishing!!! And he looked really smart in a suit too. Good food, fantastic company, what more could I ask for? ^_^ After the dinner, I met up with a Malaysian friend whom I've not seen in ages. We stayed up the whole night chatting (It was really nice catching up!) until he sent me to the bus stop at 5am to take 170 back into Singapore.
Why such an ungodly hour, you might ask? Because I had a run to get to. The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. I hadn't expected to stay in JB till Sunday and didn't bring my running gear with me. So I had to rush back home in a cab to get changed and flagged another one down to get to City Hall mrt station to meet my friends (2 ex-colleagues) for our 10 km run. We were too late for the official flag-off so we ended up starting on our own. SO paiseh. hahaha. :p But we finished it. And that's the most important thing, isn't it? I felt good completing it. Got my timing a few days after. A few minutes over an hour. Not too bad for a 1st-timer (without much training), me thinks. :)
After the run, the 3 of us (yes, all sweaty and stinky) went for some breakfast at Raffles City. Then I went home, showered and, not unexpectedly, fell into a deep sleep for quite a while.
