Junkie
Why, the food kind of cos'! :D
Possibly the most junk I've eaten in a single weekend for a long time.
Long John Silver's, tapioca crisps, chocolates, durians, some deep-fried fish thingies (what did you say they're called again, Myztika?), fried carrot cake, prata... and I can't (don't want to) remember what else. It goes on. Believe me. And this is not including the real food, home-cooked.
[Pig coming through... give way, give way!!! haha...]
Saturday was great, I met up with Myztika in JP after my training at Jurong lake in the morning. (So far! Soooo hot!) We caught up, yakked about loads of stuff (Si1vara's right, girls have a lot to say to good friends!) It was so nice to see her again! Then we headed off to Sunkiss's & her fiance's chalet party at East Coast and hung out with them for the night. Sunkiss's cooking's awesome!! :) I hereby name The Claw and his good friend 'gentlemen of the evening'. Apparently, under the girlfriend's friends protection scheme/contract, he (dragged his buddy along too) had to walk Myztika and I out to the main road to get our taxis home. Even though we adamantly insisted that we could take care of yourselves just fine. (I even had a weapon - my big wooden paddle, with me. What's there to be worried about?)
I spent Sunday lazing at home. And baked some scones (my 3rd attempt now) with my sis. They were just so-so. I was disappointed. Again. They're not as good as the first ones. Now I'm convinced the first attempt must have been a fluke. I don't think I'll ever be able to make them as delicious as that 1 time. Still it was good sisterly time.
That's about it, there. I've decided my next project would be an apple thingy. Either a pie, tart or crumble. I think I'll let my sis choose.
