Yummy guys...

Once in a while in Paris, one gets to see an immaculately dressed (beautiful coat, expensive-looking suit), metropolitan, gorgeous guy (flawless skin, chiselled features, eye-lashes that could 'sweep' you off your feet, and styled-hair that looks like he just came from the salon) who looks like he just stepped off the big screen into the real world. In short, eye-candy... :) *Yummy! Good enuff to eat huh?* Haha... :p

A couple of weeks ago there was a section in the English newspaper here (English newspaper in Paris, isn't it amazing?) that talked about living in major cities around the world. Of cos' there was one about Paris on the front page. Some of the other cities featured were New York, Tokyo, Brussels, Hong Kong, San Paulo etc. The one about Paris was very interesting, to me at least. (Maybe it's because it's the only one I could relate to now since the other cities I've never lived in before.) In the Paris article, the author talks about how most people, before seeing Paris, has mental images of streets filled with glamorous, well-dressed Parisians and how disillusioned they become after they see Paris because most people, are, like everywhere else, dressed normally. I could totally relate to tat! Back before I ever came to Paris, I had this dreamy image of her. :)

She is still as beautiful and quite so magical as I thought she was, but with the addition of the imperfections I now see, not all glamour and glitter...
